It works with common or comedogenic acne: Includes late acne in women, premenstrual, cosmetic (due to creams, makeup, oils or sunscreens), tropical (due to hot and humid weather, affecting the back, thighs and buttocks), contact (such as hydrocarbons) or iatrogenic (caused by medications such as contraceptives, corticosteroids, anabolics, androgens, bromides, iodides or isoniazid).
The degree varies from mild to moderate depending on the activity of the aromatase and 5-alpha-reductase enzymes, responsible for transforming androgens into estrogens during puberty. This activity decreases with age until 45-50 years.
Treatment:
-Initial phase:2 capsules, twice a day, for 30 days.
-Maintenance:2 capsules daily for 90 days (together or separately).
- Adjustable dose according to response, and can be increased up to 6 capsules daily if necessary.Quick response, usually in less than a week.Some women only need to take it 1-2 weeks a month.(in the luteal phase before menstruation).
Severe acne (papulopustular, conglobata, cystic):
Take 2 capsules, three times a day (6 capsules a day) as a single treatment.
-Reduces the need for retinoids(such as Roaccutane) to less than half (<25,000 IU/day), offering safer and longer-lasting treatment. Note: Consult your doctor.
Keloid acne:
- Characterized by thick residual scars (keloids). Take 2 capsules, twice a day, for 30 days, followed by 2 capsules a day for 90 days.
Complementary treatment in men with severe acne:Luteomega, NPD1 1200, Teupotheina, Gano 1200, carotenoids or vitamin A in safe doses.
Skin lesions:Dermacortin and Quercetin 900 mg.
